An Epic Journey Through Australia

Australia, 13 Nights

Days 1 to 2 - London/Sydney
Overnight flight to Australia.

Day 3 - Sydney
Arrive in Sydney and settle in to the Park Hyatt, positioned right on the magnificent Sydney Harbour. In the afternoon take a private tour of the world famous Sydney Opera House.

Day 4 - Sydney
Take in the beautiful scenery and skyline from the comfort of a Sydney Harbour Cruise. After lunch, visit the grounds of Strickland House, and then privately tour Vaucluse House, a 19th century harbour side estate.

Day 5 - Sydney/Darwin
Fly to the 'Top End' and transfer to Mantra on the Esplanade. Visit the Darwin Botanical Gardens, before seeing an outstanding collection of Aboriginal artefacts at the Darwin Museum. This evening board the pearl lugger 'Anniki,' for a sunset cruise on Darwin Harbour.

Day 6 - Darwin/Kununurra
Fly to Kununurra and check in at The Kimberley Grande, then board your scenic flight for a spectacular journey above the massive Bungle Bungles and Argyle Diamond Mine. On return take a short town tour then depart for Carton Hill Station. Stop for drinks, canapés and a barbecue before heading back to Kununurra.

Day 7 - Kununurra/El Questro
Meet the owner of Kimberley Fine Diamonds, for a private showing of the rare pink diamonds found here. Continue to El Questro, your home for the next two nights. After lunch, cruise on the Chamberlain River viewing the towering escarpments of fine rock art.

Day 8 - El Questro
Saddle-up for a unique, educational horseback tour of El Questro. After a gourmet lunch, take a guided walk through dense tropical vegetation to Zebedee Springs, a series of thermal pools tucked away among sheer cliffs and Livistonia palms.

Day 9 - El Questro/Home Valley Station
Travel by four-wheel drive along the Gibb River Road. Arrive at Home Valley Station. View the Indigenous Arts Gallery and meet trainees at their on-site training academy for indigenous local people. Dinner tonight includes live country music and Kimberley storytelling.

Day 10 - Home Valley Station
Either ride horseback or travel in the station's bull catcher vehicle for a unique Outback experience. After lunch, take a leisurely canoe ride on Bindoola Creek upstream to begin a 'rock-hopping' bush walk to a waterhole where you can swim, soak and explore. Return for a champagne sunset tour before you dine al fresco.

Day 11 - Home Valley Station/Broome
Board a flight from Kununurra to Broome, privately explore this historic pearling town, view a 130-million-year-old dinosaur footprint at Gantheaume Point and visit Sun Pictures, Chinatown and the Japanese Cemetery. At sunset take a camel ride along the beautiful sands of Cable Beach.

Day 12 - Broome
Fly to the Horizontal Falls aboard a seaplane, landing on the calm waters of Talbot Bay. Then join a new fast boat "Jet A1" through the inner and outer falls in the company of a qualified skipper. On the return flight, view Paspaley pearl farms with views of the Buccaneer Archipelago. Look out for sea turtle, dugong, shark and crocodile as you fly low over the Cape Leveque coastline en route to Broome.

Day 13 - Depart Broome
Transfer for your flight back to London via Darwin and Singapore.
