Nepal Adventure

Nepal, 8 Nights

One of the best ways of exploring Nepal is on foot. This journey takes you on a trekking adventure into the Himalayas and is aimed for the active traveller. There is also an opportunity to take a flight seeing tour to view Mount Everest.

Day 1 - Delhi/Kathmandu
Fly to Kathmandu and transfer to the Dwarika's Hotel. After check in you will have a full briefing followed by an optional walk to Pashupatinath.

Day 2 - Kathmandu/Pokhara
Today you have the opportunity for a spectacular one hour flight viewing Mount Everest. Then fly to Pokhara and transfer to the Shangri-La Village Resort.

Day 3 - Pokhara/Modi River
After breakfast, transfer by road to your trek start point. The route takes you to Sanctuary Lodge with an optional walk to Birethanti this afternoon. Trek time three hours.

Days 4 to 5 - Modi River/Ghandruk
Leave the lodge walking along the Modi River Valley. After a picnic en route arrive in the afternoon at Himalaya Lodge in Ghandruk for a two night stay. Trek time five hours.

Day 6 - Ghandruk/Gurung
Start your walk today and enjoy Lamakhet and rest by the banks of the river, returning to the lodge for lunch. Check in to the Gurung Lodge. Trek time five hours.

Day 7 - Gurung/Pokhara/Kathmandu
Trek to Lumle where you will transfer to Pokhara for your flight to Kathmandu. Upon arrival, transfer to Dwarikas' Hotel for a two night stay.

Day 8 - Kathmandu
Today will include a visit to Patan and Durbar Square, famous for its Pagoda Temples.
 
Day 9 - Kathmandu/Delhi

Transfer to the airport for your flight back to Delhi and your onward journey.
