About Camp Xakanaxa
Perched on the banks of the Khwai River, Camp Xakanaxa (pronounced ka-ka-na-ka) offers guests an authentic land and water safari experience in the Okavango Delta. This scenic, game-rich region offers unrivalled wildlife-viewing opportunities throughout the year.
Set on elevated platforms on the river’s bank, each of the camp’s Meru-style safari tent is fully furnished with an en-suite bathroom. Each tent also features a private viewing deck with comfortable loungers, perfect for gazing out over the delta and its remarkable wildlife. The birdlife is quite spectacular, especially during breeding season in spring and summer.
