    UK - Amman

    It's only a short flight from the UK to Jordan. Even so, when you land amid the exotic streets and souks of Amman, you'll feel fabulously far from home. The Fairmont Amman provides a warm welcome.

    Amman - Jerash

    There are ancient treasures around every corner in lively Amman. Your private driver will point out the highlights, from the regal Roman columns at the ancient Citadel to the inventive carvings in the Umayyad Palace. Nearby Jerash is one of the best preserved provincial cities of the Roman Empire. From the imposing South Gate to the Street of Columns, a local guide will lead you through 2,000 years of history.

    Amman - Nebo - Madaba - Shobak - Petra

    Enjoy a road-trip like no other as you head south on the old Kings' Highway. A succession of world-class sites rise to meet your car’s wheels. First is Mount Nebo, the panoramic mountain from which Moses first glimpsed the Promised Land. Next arrives Madaba, whose incredible Mosaic Map is the oldest surviving plan of the Holy Land. See Shobak Castle, which is particularly imposing from a distance as it sits on a dramatic hill. And then you reach the archaeological epicentre of Petra.

    Petra

    Delve into the ancient, rose-red city of Petra. A local guide will lead you in through the Siq, a narrow gorge flanked by soaring cliffs. This leads to the grand Al-Khazneh (Treasury), carved right from the rock. Spend time wandering amid the iconic rock-cut tombs and the immense Roman-style theatre. When you're feeling peckish, we suggest heading to Petra Kitchen for a fun Middle Eastern cooking class and ensuing feast.  

    Wadi Rum - Dead Sea

    Make like Lawrence of Arabia and head for the desert of Wadi Rum. Here, vast mounds of sandstone and granite emerge from wide sandy valleys. You traverse this otherworldly realm of dunes, camel trains and Bedouin tents by 4x4 with an experienced local guide to steer you to all the historic and atmospheric locations. You’ll leave the desert for the lowest point on earth, the Dead Sea. Mövenpick Resort & Spa Dead Sea is the perfect place for refreshing cocktails at sunset.

    The dark mud found by the Dead Sea has been lauded for its therapeutic properties for over 2,000 years. Visit the Hilton's floating pontoon and sun deck for a spot of rejuvenation, or dive into the Dead Sea to float in miraculous style in its mineral-rich waters. Experience an A&K philanthropy project, where, if you wish to, you can cycle to see the natural sustainable Tourism attractions in the Jordan Valley. Later on help locals prepare a traditional Arab Bedouin Lunch, before transferring back to your hotel in the Dead Sea.
