Kicheche Wild

Board a light aircraft and fly from Nairobi to the Masai Mara where your private safari guide will meet you. Enjoy your first taste of the vast savannah and look for wildlife en route to your camp. Relax over lunch before setting out on a sunset drive through the Naboisho Conservancy in search of lion, zebra and the rich birdlife. Return to camp at dusk for hot showers, then an aperitif around the fireside with your hosts before settling down for dinner under the stars.

After your first night in the bush, start your day with a steaming cup of coffee or tea brought to your tent. After a refreshing shower, your private safari guide will lead a morning wildlife drive to explore the plains for sightings of the Big Five. A hearty breakfast awaits back at camp, and you can spend the afternoon at leisure. As dawn and dusk are the best times to view the wildlife, you can take another drive before sunset or experience the excitement of a night drive. Dinner will be served back at camp.

Wake early and join your dedicated safari guide on board a private 4x4 to drive out into the bush for a picnic breakfast. After a morning at leisure and lunch you will be briefed prior to your two-day trek across the Naboisho Conservancy. Your guide will lead you west for the trek across valleys, stopping to examine the spoor en route before arriving at Fly Camp where you will enjoy exclusive use. A Masai guide will be your host for the evening. Dinner will be cooked over the open fire and drinks will be served before you retire to your tents.

After a night under canvas, wake to a hot drink and light breakfast, before embarking on your journey in the cool morning air. Your guide will point out areas of interest on the journey along the escarpment and Seketa Valley of Olare Motorogi Conservancy. Today’s walk will take up to five hours and will reach Kicheche Bush Camp for lunch. An afternoon wildlife drive will complete your day, before returning for a sundowner and dinner.

Rise early with a pot of tea or coffee brought to your tent. Enjoy a morning safari drive in the Naboisho Conservancy which is renowned for its big cat population along with giraffe, elephant, zebra and the rare wild dog. Your final afternoon safari drive will be followed by a farewell sundowner overlooking the plains, before returning to camp at dusk.

Breakfast in camp will be followed by time to take a few last-minute photographs of Kicheche Bush Camp and the wildlife. Your guide will drive you to the airstrip for your flight to Nairobi.
