COMO Maalifushi

Experience the laid-back island vibes of COMO Maalifushi, the Maldives' latest addition to its impressive portfolio of resorts and no exception to the trend. The refined interiors, created by award-winning Japanese interior architect, Koichiro Ikebuchi, are sleek, stylish and simple, in keeping with the paradisiacal surrounds of white sands and crystalline blue waters. Water villas are located on their own jetty, with pool, sundeck and full-length windows, or Beach villas are just as impressive with private plunge pool and open-air bathrooms. The two COMO Villas and COMO Residence are the cream of the crop – the villas are two-bedroom and offer panoramic sunset views; the Residences are four-bedroom spacious duplex houses with living area and kitchen.

All three of the resort's restaurants are based on the same principles as their sister property Cocoa Island. Fresh seafood steals the show at Japanese Restaurant Tai, all day-dining is available at Madi and Thila is a relaxed family-friendly restaurant serving home baked pizzas among other Mediterranean delights. Other facilities on the island include a signature COMO Shambhala Spa, complimentary yoga classes and privately guided meditation and pranayama.
