Thrill seekers can experience Mehrangarh Fort, Jodhpur’s most impressive site, on an exciting zipline ride. Perched on a cliff, 124 metres above the city, the fort was home to maharajas since the 15th century. Today, you can still see cannonball dents imposed by Jaipur’s invading forces.
Meet your expert guides who will brief you on the six ziplines. Then glide over the terraced Chokelao Gardens, leafy and brimming with orchids. You can also enjoy uninterrupted views over Jodhpur’s brilliant blue houses. Launch off a battlement accessed by a hidden tunnel. You’ll fly over crenellations and deep ravines. One line will whisk you deep into the arid red desert of Rao Jodha Park, gliding serenely over the surrounding mirror-like lakes. From volcanic rock and sandstone, you can look back at the fort in all its glory. Finish the adventure landing on the tip of a 30-metre fortified tower.
