About Alicia

I've been writing stories about travel since I was about seven. They usually involved a girl called Jem (an excellent 1980s name) travelling to Los Angeles to find her long-lost twin. While I like to think I've moved on, I still enjoy writing about California (which I get to do a lot of in this job). After completing my degree at Trinity College, Dublin, I took a post-grad course in Magazine Journalism from the London College of Fashion, and the rest is history. I worked as a magazine journalist in London for nearly 15 years, before relocating to Cheltenham and eventually finding my way to A&K's door.

My bucket list is getting ridiculously long. Just today, I added Scottsdale, Arizona to my list

How many languages do you speak?

Two (one is Latin, more useful than you'd think)

Phone, charger, passport, credit card and dental floss
