Secluded islands and underwater dreamscapes
There's a scattering of no fewer than 32 volcanic islands and cays washed by the blue Caribbean sea here, so your holiday in St Vincent & the Grenadines is set to be marine magic. The coral reefs of the Tobago Cays archipelago provide a spectacular underwater world to explore, there are superb sailing conditions for island-hopping and tranquil beaches too, where you can spend your days topping up your tan in beautiful seclusion.
Holidays to the Grenadines offer a multitude of islands to choose from, but if we had to choose a favourite we’d probably go for the exotic island of Mustique. It's the perfect place to unwind and enjoy the Caribbean at its best, with rolling green hills, cliffs that plummet into deep waters and soft white sand beaches.
Food is a big part of the experience too. On Mustique a visit to Basil's Bar is a must to sample the rum cocktails and delicious fresh seafood on the beach. There's a barbecue every Wednesday night and it's also the venue for the annual Mustique Blues Festival attracting blues musicians from all over the world including Earl Green, Big Joe Louis and Mick Jagger.
