    As a guide, this 4-day gorilla tour will cost from £5,665 per person, based on two adults sharing, excluding international flights from the UK. Price includes one gorilla-tracking permit per person.

    Please note: since there are a limited number of permits available per day, please apply for Gorilla Trekking Permits before you travel. Due to high demand, we recommend booking these as far in advance as possible. Permits must also be paid for at the time of booking and children under 15 are not permitted to take part in gorilla treks.

    Nairobi - Volcanoes National Park

    From Nairobi you will fly to Kigali. Here your guide will take you in a private vehicle to Sabyinyo Silverback Lodge. The lodge is just minutes from the verdant forests of Volcanoes National Park. Relax here because tomorrow you’ll trek out on foot, part the dense foliage and discover families of the magnificent mountain gorilla – one of the most thrilling and poignant wildlife experiences possible.

    Volcanoes National Park

    Forming part of the Virunga Mountain Range, the Volcanoes National Park is home to around half of the area’s remaining 880 mountain gorilla. Experienced gorilla trackers will lead you in search of a habituated gorilla family. It will be worth every moment of your intrepid trek when you encounter the group and spend a precious hour watching them eat, groom and play.

    Volcanoes National Park - Kigali

    After this once in a lifetime experience, we’ll drive you back to Kigali. During the two-hour drive, you’ll have plenty of time to reflect on your emotional gorilla encounter. Upon arrival in Rwanda’s capital, you’ll have time to relax.

    Kigali - UK

    A short visit, but very sweet, after breakfast head to the airport and fly to Nairobi. From here you can catch your flight back to the UK.
