About Beathriz 

I fell in love with travel at 5 years old when my parents decided to make Portugal our new home and leave Brazil behind. It was the first time I had stepped onto a plane and saw where day and night meet in the skies. Since then, travelling has been part of my identity. That trip was just the start of adventures and memories that only travel can give. Nowadays, I get to experience it all and motivate others to do the same.

What's your favourite destination?

From Porto to Seville, the Iberian Peninsula has a special place in my heart. 

Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?

Japan has always been a dream destination for me. The quaint villages and the ultra-tech society makes it feel like somewhere out of this world. The balance between new and old, tradition and ever-changing fashion, is very inviting. 

How many languages do you speak?

Three - English, Portuguese and Spanish 

Which five items do you always pack when travelling?

• Phone, it serves as a camera and a note-taker
• Book
• Hand sanitiser
• Comfortable shoes for exploring 
• A satin pillowcase to protect my curls  

What's your top travel tip?

Try everything. These are the moments to experience the new and different. Take lots of photos and stay hydrated.
