About Philippa

My love affair with adventure was sparked in my gap year. During those formative 12 months, I travelled across the USA, Australasia, Japan and Europe. Since then, I have studied and worked in several European cities and countries, developing my understanding of other cultures and European languages. My travel highlight to date is a charity trek across the Great Wall of China and then heading to Mongolia where I spent my days in yurts and yak carts. A career in travel expands your horizons – I find my bucket list gets bigger and more adventurous every year. I love how the A&K team is committed and passionate about producing new experiences and itineraries to share with our clients.

What's your favourite destination?

It has to be Italy – although it’s not easy to choose only one

Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?

Oman due to its variety of dramatic landscapes; deserts, starry skies, mountainous terrain, beaches and rainforest. Plus, you have the unique opportunity to watch green turtles hatch from their eggs and return to the sea

How many languages do you speak?

Three

Which one item do you always pack when travelling?

Besides the obvious passport, my battery pack. I never want to miss taking photos of those unique moments
