Watch spectacular game migrations across Selinda
Running through an approximate 130,000-hectacre private concession in northern Botswana, the floodplains of the Selinda Spillway attract vast quantities of antelope, zebra and elephant during the dry season. Shadowing them, of course, will be legions of wily predators, including lion, cheetah and wild dog.
In recent years there have also been sporadic occasions of gutsy lion attacking fierce hippo, which while not unknown, is certainly unusual.
It is for reasons like this that Selinda is a wildlife spotters’ delight, and on our bespoke safaris you can expect to experience some of Botswana’s most epic wildlife encounters. The famous Selinda Spillway, links the Okavango Delta to the floodplains of the Linyanti Swamps. Our experienced guides and local connections allow us to pinpoint exactly where to go in order to get the best vantage points in this vast area and ensure you view all the action from a position of supreme comfort.
We offer you a superb range of camps and other accommodation throughout the Selinda Reserve, such as the Zarafa Camp and the Selinda Camp, and, subject to water levels, we also recommend a fantastic three-night canoe trail that will be a highlight of your safari in Botswana.
