The intimate Sitatunga Private Island Camp lies deep among the ebb and flow of the Okavango Delta in Botswana. This lush wilderness of grassy floodplains, islands and complex network of water channels is a landscape shaped by hippos and elephants.
This peaceful camp has three beautifully designed rooms: one family unit and two suites, accommodating up to eight guests. The lodge is built on a raised, wrap-around railway sleeper private deck using recycled materials.
Sitatunga Private Island Camp is named after the elusive sitatunga, a rare swamp-dwelling antelope adapted to living in water. The design of the camp is inspired by the fishing culture of the people who live alongside the ever-changing waters of the Okavango Delta.
