Nestled in the nearly 25,000 fence-free hectares of the Loisaba Conservancy in Kenya, this recently opened five-star, tented property offers an ultra-private experience, as well as magical views towards Mount Kenya.
Designed by renowned architects Chris Payne and Jan Allen with landscape architecture by Jo Silvester, Elewana Loisaba Lodo Springs offers eight individual, spacious 84sqm tented rooms all spaced a minimum of 30m apart. Each tented room has a signature style with an individual colour scheme that was selected to tie in with the vivid vintage Ghanaian Kente cloth that hangs above the master bed. An eclectic mix of antique and vintage pieces, which have been hand-restored in Kenya, were selected to enhance the backdrop of clean, modern architectural design.
Service is paramount at Elewana Loisaba Lodo Springs: for the occupants of each tent, there is a dedicated guest ambassador, safari vehicle, driver, and Elewana field guide to accompany guests for the duration of their stay.
Dedicated to responsible tourism, this camp has been created for discerning guests who expect conservation and sustainability when they travel. Loisaba is a critical sanctuary and corridor for elephants and other wildlife including Grevy’s zebra, wild dog, leopard and cheetah.
