Nestled at the base of two rocky outcrops overlooking the desert landscapes of Damaraland, Onduli Ridge blends seamlessly into its magnificent surroundings. Its six suites are hidden among boulders and designed to blur the line between indoor and outdoor living, with louvered shutters that can be completely closed for privacy or thrown fully open to expose the space to sweeping views. Even the en-suite bathroom, with its flush toilet and rainfall shower, is crafted to fit the landscape and partially open to the elements. Each suite contains a ‘star bed’, a king-sized bed that can be rolled out onto the private terrace for nights sleeping under the starry sky.
Tearing yourself away from the luxuries of your secluded suite, the main lodge exudes a character that reflects its extraordinary backdrop and the meticulous attention to detail that is found throughout the property. There are plenty of spots to laze, around the infinity pool, on the lounge deck or in the cosy library for example, perfect after a day of action and adventure pursuing some of the exceptional activities that Onduli has to offer. Tracking desert-adapted elephants and rhinos, taking nature drives and walks with knowledgeable guides and admiring ancient rock art all make for an unforgettable stay.
