With only nine suites and a scenery that bears no trace of human tampering, you can experience the natural world as it was intended. You can float in the pool by the sundeck without missing out on the red plains and framing mountains in the distance. The staff are highly trained, and the cuisine is top-notch – enjoy three courses at lunch and five at dinner. The rooms’ interiors are stylishly wood panelled and decorated with contemporary artwork, and with firm beds and soft sofas you can spend your evenings in a comfortable haven.
Hot air balloons give you spectacular views, and you can journey out to see the local elephants on game drives led by an expert guide. The Ugab River is also home to a rich variety of birdlife, from the many African eagles to the three species of crane in Namibia.
