About Mokuti Etosha Lodge
Those wishing to get up close to the rarest and the most-loved African wildlife are spoiled by Mokuti Etosha Lodge, set on an oasis on the edge of Etosha National Park. It even has its own 4,000-hectare private reserve bordering the park.
Your comfort is essential to the staff at Mokuti Etosha Lodge, and all will receive a warm Namibian welcome. There are 90 rooms and 16 luxury rooms, all air conditioned and mod cons and en-suite bathrooms with showers. The cuisine is also a highlight here, with a choice of the Tambuti Dining Room & Marula Bar, the Pool Bar & Terrace and the only open-air African Boma in the area. Meals are authentic Namibian feasts featuring local products, including game, and traditional recipes.
Here, you can see all the mammals typical of the plains of southern Africa as well as some of the rarer and lesser-known creatures. During your stay, keep your eyes peeled for majestic herbivores like the black rhino, elephant, giraffe, zebra, wildebeest, warthog, springbok, oryx, black-faced impala, kudu, gemsbok and eland. The predators at the top of your list should be lion, fleet-footed cheetah, leopard and jackal. Those out to see Africa’s quirkiest creatures will be delighted to witness bat-eared fox, honey badger and ground squirrel thriving in their natural habitat.
