About Little Kulala
Kulala means 'to sleep', and what better place to drift off than under a sky littered with thousands of stars? Situated in the Namib desert region of Sossusvlei, Little Kulala comprises eleven thatched villas set in a 21,000-hectare wilderness reserve. The private plunge pool and rooftop ‘skybeds’ are perfect for unwinding in the sunshine or under the starry sky. Wake up each morning to the call of the wild as birds glide in the skies above. Head out to explore the reserve on safari drives and nature walks. In the day, look out for wildlife such as ostrich and gemsbok; after dark, embark on a night safari to spot aardwolf and bat-eared fox. Thrill seekers can take to the skies on an exhilarating hot-air balloon ride to soak up the desert scenery from above. At Little Kulala, all this and more awaits.
