About Entamanu
Entamanu Ngorongoro sits on the crater’s rim in an incredibly remote area, and it’s only a short drive from the Seneto Descent Road. The camp enjoys a southward view deep into the crater, a home to vast amounts of wildlife, and towards the northwest you can see the plains of the Serengeti, Olduvai Gorge and the Gol Mountains. There’s nowhere else in the world where you can watch the sun rise over the crater and set over the Serengeti.
As well as the game drives in the Ngorongoro Crater, a longer stay here allows you to explore the unspoilt beauty of the Empakal and Olmoti craters by foot. Dine on wholesome local recipes and spend your evenings round the campfire, sharing jokes and tales of your adventures – the only way to end your days when on safari.
Stay in one of the six rooms, two of which have a mezzanine level and are ideal for families with children. At Entamanu, environmentally friendly stoves heat the rooms while the cool mist gathers outside, making this a comfortable way to see some of the world’s most exceptional sights.
