One of the world’s most spectacular natural marvels
Twice the height of Niagara Falls, Zambia’s Victoria Falls is one of the seven natural wonders of the world.
Here you can enjoy an incredible range of sightseeing opportunities and participate in adrenaline-based pursuits.
The Zambian side of the Victoria Falls is relatively new to tourism making it quieter to explore the plenty of scenic walking trails available. Visit when water levels are low during the dry season and you can even reach Livingstone Island. This is where the legendary explorer got his first glimpse of the falls and, after he caught his breath, named them after his queen.
Adventurers can take a white-knuckle bungee jump from the bridge that connects Zambia and Zimbabwe. To raise the heart rates further they can swing across the deep canyon or take a dramatic white-water rafting trip through the rapids.
More sedate activities include visits to the Mosi-Oa-Tunya National Park that lies a short journey upstream. At the nearby Nakatindi Village you can see our philanthropy project that benefits vulnerable children.
During the evenings you can take a truly unforgettable sunset cruise along the mighty Zambezi River. You may wish to simply relax in our superb lodges overlooking the river and the falls. If you time your visit with a full moon you can catch the magnificent ‘lunar rainbow’. This appears as the moon’s light reflects off the water droplets in the air.
