About Little Makalolo
In the heart of Hwange National Park, Little Makalolo overlooks a bustling waterhole with six traditional-style tents, including a spacious family unit. All tents are en suite with indoor and outdoor showers, and as solar power is used to heat the water, the camp has a light environmental footprint. Each of the tents are linked to the main area by teak walkways.
Shaded by a false mopane tree, the separate dining and living area has an open fire for catching up with fellow guests and sharing fireside safari stories. The refreshing pool is the perfect place for a cooling dip on hot summer days, and a hide is hidden within a log-pile overlooking the waterhole, so you can be conspicuous and watch the animals wander down to quench their thirst. The camp has open 4x4 vehicles for excellent viewing of the predators that call Hwange home.
