About COMO Uma Ubud
Uma Ubud is hidden away on the fringe of the Balinese island of Ubud overlooking the Tjampuhan Valley through which the River Oos runs. The hotel occupies a three-hectare site amid fenceless fields carved out of hillsides, backed by the curve of coconut palms and banyan trees wrapped in vines. This topography concentrates both magic and energy in the whispering grass concealing Uma Ubud.
It is designed to feel like a rural home in the hills, with the intimate Kemiri Restaurant serving delicious local dishes and the holistic Asian-inspired COMO Shambhala Retreat Spa. Only a five minute drive away (or 20 minute walk) is Ubud, where you can find numerous boutiques, galleries and restaurants.
