Explore the many sides of Noosa
Noosa has it all – sand, surf, shops and more. Known as the relaxation capital of Australia, this is a town that screams luxurious easy-living. There’s plenty of entertainment and activity options in the town itself which is loosely divided into three areas: Noosa Heads (the luxury bit), Noosaville (the laidback bit) and Noosa Junction (the administrative bit).
At Noosa Heads, indulge your shopping and sun worshiping sides at this cosmopolitan suburb. Enjoy mornings pottering around the fashionable boutiques and lazy afternoons on white sandy beaches like Laguna Bay. Here is the place to spruce up and be seen in your best beachwear. If you fancy something a little more low key, the living is easier at Noosaville which is fantastic for families wanting to try some water sports, or take a break for coffee at one of the many vibrant riverside bars and cafés. If you’re there over the UK summer months, you may also be lucky enough to swim with humpback whale.
The nearby Noosa National Park offers coastal tracks with stunning views of the Coral Sea, as well as shelter to the native koala so keep your eyes peeled for these elusive creatures. If surfing, sunbathing, walking and shopping aren't your bag, why not explore one of only two Everglades in the world by kayak or take a craft beer tour around the numerous microbreweries popping up in the local area.
