Arrive Melbourne, Australia

Arrive in Melbourne, where you are met and transferred to your hotel. Begin to explore this vibrant city’s landmarks your own way before gathering with your Resident Tour Director and fellow guests for a welcome dinner.

Melbourne

Journey out of Melbourne and into the scenic landscapes of the Yarra Valley, stopping at one of the many vineyards of this renowned wine region. Here, you’ll have behind-the-scenes access and time to spend with the wine producers. You’ll then sit down to a private wine pairing masterclass with canapés, followed by a delicious lunch with matched wines, introduced by a sommelier. Next, visit a second winery for an exclusive barrel-room tasting before returning to the city.

Uluru

Fly to Uluru( Ayers Rock). Transfer to your luxury tented camp, spectacularly situated overlooking the UNESCO-listed wilderness of Uluru-Kata Tjuta National Park. Later, with chilled glass in hand, marvel as the rays of the setting sun play across the landscape, Uluru itself changing colour before your very eyes – a truly unforgettable ‘Scenic Sundowner’. Tonight, enjoy an exclusive four-course dining experience among the dunes, set to the haunting sounds of the ancient indigenous culture. The night ends under the southerly stars with the camp’s astronomer.

Uluru

Rise early and set out for Kata Tjuta (the Olgas), pausing to view the sunrise over its majestic domes. Walk through Walpa Gorge, learning from your guide how eons of weathering and continental upheaval have shaped the dramatic landscape. This afternoon, back at Uluru, wander the Mala Walk, stopping to examine cave paintings and discovering sources of ‘bush tucker’. Enjoy another glorious sunset in the solitude of the Kantju Gorge, sipping on sparkling wine and nibbling on canapes as its steep walls blaze with the dying rays of the setting sun.

Uluru – Hayman Island

Rise with the dawn to discover the peaceful Mutitjulu Waterhole and the sacred site of Kuniya Piti as the sun rises over ancient Uluru. As you walk with your guide, they will share the Anangu creation story of Kunina and Liru, which offers a new perspective on this striking monolith. After breakfast, board your private charter flight to Hamilton Island, from where you’ll ride by launch to Hayman Island. Here your idyllic resort awaits – InterContinental Hayman Island Resort.

Hayman Island

Spend a full day exploring the Great Barrier Reef aboard your stylish private vessel. Snorkel the local fringing reefs where, just beneath the surface of crystal clear waters, you’ll enter a world of kaleidoscopic colours. After lunch, make a stop at Whitehaven Beach to discover for yourself why this pristine stretch of powdery white sand is widely considered one of the most beautiful beaches in the world.

Hayman Island

Enjoy a day at your leisure, relaxing or taking part in one of the included activities, such as a guided nature walk, fish feeding or kayaking.

Hayman Island – Sydney
