About Hapuku Lodge
Located just north of the renowned, eco-marine town of Kaikoura, on New Zealand’s South Island, Hapuku Lodge is surrounded by an expansive deer farm and 1000-tree olive grove, in one of the country’s most spectacular settings - between the Kaikoura Seaward Mountain Range and famed Mangamaunu Bay. Hapuku is a labour of love, designed by a family of architects and builders who hand-crafted the majority of the furniture, with the help of local friends. The lodge has six rooms, a stand-alone spacious apartment, five luxury treehouses, and a function venue. Lodge Suites overlook the pool and have Japanese soaking tubs, the Olive House Suite has a kitchen, spa tub, fi replace, and 360 degree views.
The lodge has a restaurant with fantastic views, serving fresh, unpretentious, and delicious food, with ingredients often sourced from the farm or local area. A lap-pool, sauna, and massage room have recently been added for the ultimate luxurious relaxation.
