About Treehotel
Treehotel offers a unique hotel experience: tree rooms with contemporary design in the middle of unspoiled nature. Upon checking in at Britta's Pensionat, it's a five-minute walk to Treehotel, located in the tall pine forest with spectacular views of the Lule River. The tree rooms are suspended 4-6 metres above the ground and are accessible by ramp, bridge, or electric stairs.
Each room is unique. Not only the architecture but also the furniture, lighting and fabrics are custom designed. The rooms vary in size between 15-30 m², with the largest rooms accommodating up to four people. Highly environmentally friendly, the tree rooms are built on live trees and feature under floor heating, electricity from hydroelectric power and low energy LED lights. Choose to stay in the UFO, Mirrorcube, Bird's Nest, Blue Cone, Dragonfly or Cabin.
Britta's Pensionat is open to guest of the Treehotel, and serves breakfast, lunch and dinner in an authentic 1930-1950's setting. There is also a bar, sauna and relaxation area with TV and internet.
Children young and old will love the Birds Nest whilst techies will love the Mirrorcube, featuring infrared layer to stop birds flying into it and the UFO could be more at home in a Hollywood blockbuster. Bring your friends and all stay in Dragonfly with your own lounge, air-conditioning and Wi-Fi.
Activities on site range from visits to the local village to dog sledding, ice dining in a heated tipi upon an ice covered lake and speedy skijoring is a must. In the summer the chance to fish and ride at night plus trek, mountain bike and sea kayak.
