About Amankora, Bumthang
Amankora incorporates a series of lodges, all unique and sympathetically balanced with their environment. Together, the lodges create a circular pilgrimage through Bhutan's breathtakingly spectacular central and western valleys.
Bumthang Lodge is accessed through an impressive stone-clad hallway, with 16 guest suites situated in four separate dwellings, each containing two suites on the ground floor and two on the upper floor. Each suite features wood-panelled interiors, a traditional bukhari, king-size bed, terrazzo-clad bath, shower, twin vanities and daybed overlooking the courtyard and nearby Wangdichholing Palace and monastery. After a day of exploring the local culture, enjoy a private barbeque by the firepit with a personalised menu. Make sure to relax with a Zen massage, the lodge's signature treatment, during your stay.
