About The Cape Weligama
Just half an hour east of Galle on Sri Lanka's palm-fringed coast, The Cape Weligama is set within five hectares of beautiful gardens, peering down over the Indian Ocean. Accommodation is comprised of a collection of private Residences and Suites, with a total of 39 rooms making the experience of staying here intimate and unhurried. The rooms create the illusion of a traditional Sri Lankan village and are supremely private, with generously sized contemporary living rooms and gardens, with private butler services as standard.
The Cape Weligama pays homage to its privileged location through its cuisine, including the day's freshest catch cooked to order to your taste. Eat Sri Lankan style, with your hands, in an open-air spot showcasing the region's flavoursome curries, or sample delicious teppanyaki with a sea view. Year round you'll find a diverse range of activities on offer, from surfing lessons, scuba, lake kayaking to cycling the rice paddies and leopard safaris. If that sounds too strenuous, simply kick back on your private, shady terrace with a pot of single origin Ceylon tea with a book from the library, or slip into the infinity pool. We can highly recommend the spa.
