About Sanctuary Zein Nile Chateau
The Zein Nile Chateau is a rare gem: one of a select few ships exclusively offering private Nile cruises. The traditional dahabiya design evokes the old world, with tall, billowing sails, and a slender profile that allows you to venture where larger vessels cannot. But there’s nothing ‘old world’ about the modern luxuries on board, nor the superlative service.
Exclusive is an understatement. Accommodating up to 12 passengers, there are just four cabins and two suites – each individually designed with nods to Egyptian heritage. Soak up the rays and river views on the Arabian-styled sun deck, kick back in the lounge or with a good book in the library, and cool off (or warm up) in the outdoor pool. The Zein is the ideal choice for special occasions and family escapes.
Your bespoke Nile voyage can whisk you to both the big hitters and hidden treasures, from the Valley of the Kings to Abu Simbel. Private docks in both Luxor and Aswan help you to dodge the cruise crowds and give you greater flexibility. During excursions, you’ll have the full attention of the onboard Egyptologist, who will share riveting stories from the ‘Land of Ra’. You’ll also enjoy gourmet dishes tailored to your tastes and served up by the resident kitchen crew. The staff-to-guest ratio guarantees you VIP treatment.
Glamourous, intimate, and authentically Egyptian: the Zein is Nile cruising how it’s meant to be.
While cruising the Nile, guests aboard the Zein are treated to Egyptian and international cuisine made using quality ingredients by highly qualified chefs.
Four daily meals are included in your cruise: breakfast, lunch, afternoon tea, and dinner. These are a mixture of buffet and à-la-carte services, and served in the intimate, sophisticated dining room. Depending on the weather, some meals may be held out on deck, allowing you to soak up the sunshine and Nile views as you navigate Egypt’s historic river. Mineral water, tea, coffee, fresh fruit juice, and local and international wines are available.
Every cruise also features a special gala dinner, a traditional Egyptian evening, and a cookery demonstration in which three authentic regional dishes are prepared before guests in the open kitchen, then served to taste.
Zein’s expert chefs can accommodate specific dietary needs, and also offer vegetarian and children’s menus, making this ship a family-friendly choice for Nile cruising.
