Why we like it
- One of the most legendary golf courses in the world and host of five U.S Open Championships.
- Located along the scenic 17-Mile Drive, on the Monterey Peninsula between the popular towns of Monterey and Carmel and right on the shores of the Pacific Ocean.
- There are three levels of accommodation to choose from Casa Palmero, The Lodge, at Pebble Beach and the Inn at Spanish Bay
- Casa Palmero is our particular favourite. Mediterranean in design and with only 24 private rooms each with wood burning fireplaces, it is the most intimate of the accommodation available at the resort.
About Pebble Beach Resorts
Pebble Beach Resorts is spread over an area of outstanding natural beauty, along the Pacific coast, about 2 hours south of San Francisco. Rightly famous for the Pebble Beach course the resort also features another championship course, the challenging Spyglass Hill, along with two other 18 hole courses. However, the resort has much more to offer than just world-class golf. For non-golfers or indeed those in need of some rejuvenation after a day on the course there is an excellent spa, with many indulgent signature treatments. Plus the location lends itself to some spectacular walks or visits to the charming towns of Carmel and Monterey. As Jack Nicklaus says "If I had only one more round to play, I would choose to play it at Pebble Beach."
