Visit the beautiful Estancia Villa Maria estate on the outskirts of Buenos Aires for an introduction into the wonderful world of polo. You will learn everything there is to know about the rules of the game, the training of the ‘ponies’ and the history of the sport. It is then time for your two-hour session with an expert instructor, which will be tailored according to your ability. The day ends with a well-deserved lunch featuring tradition Argentinian ingredients.
Founded towards the end of the 19th century, Estancia Villa Maria is an Argentine haven. The main building, designed by Alejandro Bustillo, is an architectural masterpiece, resembling a Tudor-Norman rural palace. The surrounding park, in which your lesson will take place, was designed by the landscape painter Benito Carrasco and uses space exceptionally. This magnificent setting, in view of the palace towers, is the perfect place to fall in love with the sport of kings.
