About Cristalino Lodge
Nestled within a private rainforest reserve in the southern Brazilian Amazon, Cristalino Lodge offers an authentic wildlife experience and luxury jungle comfort. Voted among the Top 25 Best Eco Lodges in the World by National Geographic, Cristalino is renowned as Brazil's finest eco-friendly accommodation and is committed to the conservation of local biodiversity.
After stepping off your motorised canoe, (the lodge is only accessible by boat), you will be handed a welcome drink before an introductory talk from professional and knowledgeable guides. Integrating harmoniously into the surrounding environment, each wooden bungalow is spacious and comfortable, with a cosy bed, large bathroom, private veranda with hammock as well as Wi-Fi internet.
Soothed by the sounds of the river, you can while away an afternoon on the floating sun deck before enjoying a typical Brazilian-style feast at the restaurant or al fresco beneath the star-filled sky. The bar serves an array of soft and alcoholic beverages including the famous Caipirinha cocktail.
The lodge is located in the north of Mato Grosso State - a region renowned for its large biodiversity - making it one of the best places in Brazil to observe fascinating birds, butterflies, mammals and a variety of flora and fauna. We recommend climbing up an observation tower to observe monkeys, toucans, macaws and other wildlife from above the canopy. Other activities available include boat or canoe trips along the river, hikes through the dense jungle or a refreshing dip in the river's clear waters.
