Why we like it
- Napo Wildlife Center is located on the edge of Lake Aññangu, a UNESCO Biosphere Reserve and the largest tract of tropical rainforest in Ecuador
- The ecolodge has a large dining hall and a well-stocked bar. The bar has a 15mviewing tower from which you can see the Andes on a clear day
- Other facilities include a 46m canopy tower deep in the forest, a boutique and a library – but the lodge's real magic is its location and the opportunity to observe rainforest life in abundance
