South Pole and Summiting History

True to the soul of authentic adventure, on this pioneering Inspiring Expedition, a small group explored Antarctica. Whilst discovering the most remote and spectacular land on our planet, they enjoyed viewing the extraordinary wildlife that live in this incredible region. In December 2018, from an expedition base camp comprised of luxury space-age pods nestled on the edge of the continent, the group visited one of the largest Emperor penguin colonies; explored ice caves and climbed to the summit of a virgin mountain in the Drygalski mountain range, earning the right to name it. The crowning achievement – standing at the ceremonial and geographic South Poles.
