About King's Pool
King's Pool is named after a Scandinavian monarch spent a number of nights camping out on the oxbow-shaped King's Pool Lagoon, long before any structured camp was built here. The camp overlooks the King's Pool Lagoon and the Linyanti River system which makes for spectacular game viewing from the luxury of the raised decks of the main areas of the camp or your own private deck.
The nine spacious rooms with canvas walls and a thatched roof consist of a large en-suite bedroom and lounge. The outside space with each room is very special and private; folding doors lead to a private deck with plunge pool a thatched sala and an outdoor plunge pool, the perfect place to relax in the middle of the day. The main area is very open and spacious there is an open air "kgotla" (boma) for evening dining under the stars, as well as a lounge area and other dining areas for guests to relax in and use as meeting points for the safari activities on offer. Curved sofas sunk into the main deck area are the perfect place to relax with your favourite book or watch with avid eyes to see what wildlife is going to come down to the lagoon.
