About Chilo Gorge Safari Lodge
Gonarezhou is the second largest National Park in Zimbabwe, but due to historical access issues, was one of the least visited in Southern Africa. However, due to the variety of landscapes, combined with the diversity and numbers of mammal and birdlife, it has been labelled as a “gem amongst African parks”. Chilo Gorge offers guests the ability to explore this pristine wilderness by vehicle or by foot.
The luxurious rooms at Chilo Gorge have spacious en suite bathrooms, private balconies and seating areas with commanding views over the Save River and Gonarezhou. Families can choose to stay in two of the rooms with an extended interconnecting balcony. The materials used are all natural, so the lodge blends beautifully with its surroundings.
