From the buzz of Sydney to the eucalyptus tree-laden Blue Mountains
In New South Wales you’ll enjoy the big city buzz of Sydney and its famous harbour. Alternatively, you can enjoy the free-spirited vibe of the beach at Byron Bay, hike in the tranquil Blue Mountains or journey to the outback with a soul-soothing trip to one of the region’s World Heritage National Parks. NSW holidays are where the city, the beach, the forests and the mountains effortlessly mingle.
Against the backdrop of Sydney’s iconic skyline you can take a cruise round the harbour or a Sydney Opera House tour to learn about the city’s fascinating past. The city is home to cosmopolitan clubs, lively bars, top-notch dining many sun-drenched beaches that are perfect to relax and people-watch from. For the more adventurous there are private surfing lessons available on Bondi Beach. For the rest of us there is enough fine food, nearby wine trails, festivals, museums and art galleries to keep us going.
Beyond the city, the Blue Mountains National Park gets its name from the blue haze rising from the eucalyptus trees that cover its landscape. Packed with excellent hiking trails, a visit here is a great way to see the local wildlife up close without having to venture too far from civilisation. If you prefer a safer environment, we’ll arrange a Taronga Zoo behind-the-scenes tour. Ideal for younger members of the family, the keeper will introduce you to everything from giraffe to creepy crawlies.
