About Debbie
My love of travel started when I worked as a language teacher in Japan for four years, a country I now adore. In 2006, I travelled overland from London to Bangkok. The trip took six months. We visited many amazing places including Iran, Pakistan and Tibet... After the truck, I travelled for another 12 months through Asia, Australasia, the Pacific and America. After three years of working in the travel industry, ready for my next adventure I set off from England bound for Cape Town, South Africa... on my bicycle. It was an epic ride through Europe, the Middle East and the east coast of Africa. We arrived in Cape Town after 16 months, 20 countries and a total of 8,000 miles.
