About Rachel

My love of travel started after what was originally intended to be one year of teaching experience after university turned into almost six years teaching English in Argentina, Hong Kong and South Korea. I was lucky to be able to travel extensively throughout Asia and South America while there, and when I (eventually) returned home in 2015, I moved into the travel industry. I love being able to talk about my passion every day and helping people plan their dream trips.

What is your favourite destination?

Argentina has a special place in my heart. I love the diversity of the landscapes, the friendly locals, and the fantastic food and wine.

Which destination is top of your bucket list, & why?

Right now, Colombia is top of my list due to its natural beauty and interesting history and culture.

How many languages do you speak?

One.

Which five items do you always pack when travelling?

Sunglasses, sunscreen, plenty of podcasts and good playlists for the long travel days, noise cancelling headphones, Birkenstocks.

What's your top travel tip?

Don’t be afraid to get a bit lost - the best travel stories don’t happen when everything goes exactly as planned.
