About Julia

My love for travel began when I went backpacking through South America. The thrill of seeing a place I didn’t know anything about is a feeling I will never forget. Growing up in Kenya has meant I have been lucky enough to experience some of the most amazing and special things Africa has to offer. Going on safari and being surrounded by wildlife has always been part of my life, which is why I love this job. I am excited to share my experiences with you and create memories that you will never forget.

What's your favourite destination?

It’s hard to choose but if I had to pick, Bolivia is one my favourite destinations - visiting the salt flat lake was breathtaking, and Kenya because it’s my home and I have endless memories. 

Which destination is top of your bucket list, and why?

Uganda – I would love to trek through Bwindi rainforest where I can meet the Silverback Gorillas. 

How many languages do you speak?

English and Swahili.

Which five items do you always pack when travelling?

Camera, book, suncream, hat and backgammon. 

What's your top travel tip?

Appreciate everything the country has to offer.
